This Saturday. March 14th, from 11 am to 2pm, I am hosting my 6th annual Food & Clothing Drive! It’s the perfect time for your Spring Cleaning. You are welcome to swing by and drop off donations of clothing for adults and children, books, toys, and unexpired food. Simply drive through my office parking lot at 2501 N Sepulveda Blvd in Manhattan Beach. It’s located on the west side of the street and you can access the parking lot from either Marine Avenue or Sepulveda Blvd (going south).
Donations Will Support Midnight Mission & Home Light Family Housing
Both Midnight Mission & Home Light Family Housing help homeless men and families, respectively, get back on their feet. I have been volunteering with Home Light Family Housing on a weekly basis for 20 years; it’s an amazing organization, helping families secure work and establish permanent housing. Home Light provides counseling, daycare, and other services. They help children break the cycle of homelessness. This means Home Light always has a need for community support. Midnight Mission works exclusively with men, and they are in constant need of basic items as well.

List of Clothing Items Needed
Midnight Mission always needs new socks and underwear for men. They can also use gently worn clothing and food items. Home Light always needs gently worn clothing for adults and children of all ages.
List of Food Items Needed
Midnight Mission cooks three meals a day for homeless men; that’s an enormous endeavor! And Home Light helps to supplement the families’ meals, enabling them to save money so they can ultimately afford independent housing. Food items
